Consistency

I show a picture of Tiger Woods in my presentations because he represents the ultimate in practicing consistency.  I feel professional athletics is the most public representation of consistency. There are many other professions where consistency is the core to success such as science, sales, marketing and leadership.

When I write and speak about consistency it’s designed to help determine the tasks you need to complete in order to reach the goal on which you have focused.  To just establish a goal with no path to get there is a waste of time.  The consistency comes from knowing your goal and understanding the tasks that make you successful are typically redundant.

Practicing golf, training for an event, conducting research or successful sales all require certain tasks being completed on a regular basis to be successful.

When we are creating those tasks, we need to remember to keep them simple and to make them as measurable as your goal. Then you are off on the road to success!
